Forgotten Footprint

Spring 2018

Sullivan Galleries, Chicago, IL

Forgotten Footprint is a composite of elements of the built environment of Chicago that were once celebrated spaces, but are now endangered sites: Thompson Center, Altgeld Gardens, Union Power Station, Pioneer Arcade at Madison Pulaski Corridor and South Shore Cultural Center. This project strives to draw attention to the layers of complexity and the political, social, industrial, commercial and cultural significance of our designs. It is a call to action to use forms and spaces to participate in this political discourse.
