606 Trail, Chicago, IL
Critics: Adrienne Brown, Terry Surjan and Ang Li
The act of pinching is explored in this project whilst trying to create curved forms and a circulatory system for a rest space at the 606 trail in Chicago. The lighting conditions of the site were studied to create an environment where light filtered in unique ways to create an ephemeral mood. The sound conditions were also considered in choosing a site along the 606 as it allowed for the evaluation of the kind of experience the intervention was striving to create, in this case a calming one.
